Outlook 2002 setup

Follow these simple steps to add your Digital Crocus e-mail account to Outlook 2002 (the process should be similar for all other versions of Outlook).

First select "E-mail Accounts..." from the Tools menu.

Then select "Add a new e-mail account".

We recommend using IMAP to receive your e-mail as this will make your mailbox available from Webmail and any other computer you login from. POP3 will also work.

Fill in the settings as above with your own user and login information. For most users, your username and password will be the same as your main account username and password - if you have created separate mailboxes, enter the mailbox username and password.

Rather than clicking Next, you will need to enable SMTP authentication, do this by clicking the "More Settings" button.

Under the "Outgoing Server" tab, select "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Use the same settings as your incoming server. You can now press OK on this window and finish the wizard.

This should be all you need to do in order to get your e-mail set up in Outlook 2002.
